How to Use Your Feet To Transform Your Yoga Practice

As you all know I love feet.  My love for feet started with my own foot issues along with finding a yoga instructor who taught me how to strengthen and take care of my feet.

As I worked on strengthening my feet it began to change my yoga practice.  In addition, I started to learn more effective and efficient ways to use my feet during my practice that impacted my poses.  Poses that were once challenging to me became easier (like inversions).  Stretches that were once easy became a little bit more dynamic.

This month, Holy Yoga is celebrating the theme “Root Down to Rise Up.”  As part of this theme, I was able to create a video about how our feet (our roots) can transform our yoga practice.
